Cock a Doodle...

Well, it's far into summer (time-wise, not weather wise) here in Salem and feathers are still going strong. Still doing great on Etsy, yay! I  plan to do 4 or more Christmas Bazaars. Pringle School, Liberty School, North Salem High School, and Mission Mill Christmas are on my to-do lists. :-) LOVE them! If you've never been, go this year! Such a killer variety of soaps, signs, trinkets, jewelry, handmade purses, etc. I love meeting new people and it's such a great support system when you are around fellow crafters!!  My thing this year is not putting everything together first, but to let YOU decide what combo you need. I will still assemble the flowers, add rhinestones, layer, feathers, clips, etc, but the customer will get to add headbands or hats. I have SUCH a variety of so cute headbands and hats this year! This year I had a craft clinic and was schooled about contrasting patterns by some style-savvy 10 year olds!! LOVED IT!  They layered every (EVERY) turquoise flower I had, the results were stunning!!  I am so matchy-matchy sometimes I forget that contrast is beautful too.
